The end....

I've been getting kind of over-busy.
I'll have to stop blogging.
As you probably can see, I've been silent for quite a while.
Sorry guys.

I might come back sometime though.

Did you think I was going to leave you with that?
NO.

Here's a final story, about a cat.

I was your best friend as a kitten. You threw hairbands and I brought them back to you. You would happily pet me and call me your baby girl and princess. I loved you and kept you safe from the bad dreams that you had when you were little. As you got older, you brought more boys into the home. I saw you light some weed and crack every now and then, but loved you all the same. I slept by your side at night, but when a boy was in the home, you would kick me and throw me into the closet. I waited until the boy left and you let me out. As time progressed, you stopped feeding me and giving me water. You only fed me when you bred me and sold my beloved kits. When I was old and delivered a bad litter, you threw me and my kits outside to live in the cold and darkness. My kits were blind, one deaf, and my third was born dead. I thought you cared, but I was wrong. When winter struck, my kittens died and I lived in a trash can until the humane society found me. I was given food and shelter, but no attention that an old she-cat needed. People would look at me through my cage, they would smile and wave, but no-one ever took me home. I was too old for anyone's likings. One cold winter day, a man with tears in his eyes took me out of my cage and into a light filled room. He told me I was going to a better and pain free place. I purred and licked his hand weakly as he placed the antiseptic needle in my veins. As I closed my eyes, I thought of you, my hurtful owner, that I loved and cared for when you were young. It was I who made you laugh when you were about to cry. It was I, the old female cat, that put up with you as you grew older, and this was the thanks I got. I closed my eyes and entered a pain free place, as the lovely man promised me. Copy this story onto your page if you hate animal abuse and if it brought tears to your eyes as it did mine.

Ok, this is for Howrse, so that's why it said "page".
Still...

Ok, now don't be too sad. Here's a vid to cheer you up.

You were probably thinking "fail" when the cheetah was trying to catch the gazelle. I know I was.

Or how about:

Ok, tell me where I can do this!

Newest Update: We are still stuck in Halloween mode. Need technical help.
Like seriously, when I click 'apply to blog' it doesn't do it.

I'll check back occasionally to post and view your comments, so don't stop the flow!
But I'll probably be more active in the summer.

Animal Jam Foxes + Me and the Moon

So foxes are in the diamond shop now. I guess thats a disappointment to some people (like me) who were hoping foxes were going non-member, but thats ok.
AJ's also appealing to the next generation now. I mean "what does the fox say"?

Hmm...

Look:

They both have bunnies! Kind of strange, don't you think? Especially since they're the only ones that do...
Also, foxes would regularly be eating the bunnies, though I'm assuming the fox in the top right corner is not chasing the bunny for prey, due to the fact the the bunny is smiling. Also, foxes do not chase bunnies off waterfalls unless they're playing. On the other hand, foxes don't chase bunnies off waterfalls in the first place.

Also, I took a little quiz by inputting my b-day.
Here's what it says about me.
(I have to put my siggie in front because it won't let me type under the moon phase thing)

You were born during a New moon
The moon is dark in this phase, because the half that's illuminated by the sun is facing away from Earth.

- what it says about you -
You want to leave an impression on people and make your mark on the world. When you love an idea, you'll work hard for it, sometimes even dropping whatever it is you're doing to go on to the next new great thing that's captured your imagination. The more freedom you have to chose what you're doing, the busier you'll be.
What phase was the moon at on your birthday? Find out at Spacefem.com

Games + Buckets

Sorry guys, I know most of you will have no interest in the beginning of this post, so feel free to skip.

I'm selling this Chincoteague Pony for 1200 equus, starting bid.

It's got three days left to auction.
He's 2 years and 8 months old.
Here are its stats-

Stamina: 74.11
Speed: 44.66
Dressage: 71.33
Gallop: 74.14
Trot: 20.08
Jumping: 31.76
Total: 316.08

Skills is 316, Genetics is 1293.

It's got pretty good genetics, and reasonable skills, so this is a bargain. Seriously, there's this pony that has 3 for skills (total) and 359 genetics (he's two months older than my pony), and he's selling for 2000. And people bid on things like that. So hurry up and bid!

Also, I've discovered a new game called Reptile Breeder 2. Guess why.
If you decide to start playing it, would you enter 8gah as your invite code? Thanks.

Also, another game called Beastkeeper. You can collect and breed fantasy animals, such as unicorns and dragons.

My first pet:

A cockatrice.

Also, an incident on CS.

A certain player kept sending me unfair trades which I edited, then finally canceled. The player must have felt bad for some reason, because they sent me a rare and an apology:

They sent me this trade: http://www.chickensmoothie.com/trades/viewtrade.php?id=31511466
I, greedy person I am, accepted, then felt bad.

So I sent them one of these:

an uncommon and on their wishlist. To view this trade, go here: http://www.chickensmoothie.com/trades/viewtrade.php?id=31512260

This just shows that, if everyone took a little time to be kind, the world would be oh so much a better place.
Also, in class today, our teacher talked about how we each carried around with us an invisible bucket, and when someone complimented you the bucket filled up, and when someone insulted you, the bucket emptied out. She told us that if everyone worked to fill each other's buckets, the world would become a kinder place. And when you fill up somebody else's bucket, your bucket fills up too.
Naturally, I asked what was filling the bucket, and where did it come from/ where did it go when it was emptying.
The point is, as you can possibly see from my teacher's kind of silly explanation, we should do our best to make each other feel good.
I was amazed and really happy when that player sent me a rare, because that was one of the Halloween pets I didn't have.
I don't know about them, but I imagine they must be somewhat pleased to get a wishlist pet.

Oh no. I'm sounding like my teacher.

Note:
To see this month's litter on CS, I have made a page for that.

Sorry ppl

Sorry I haven't been posting.
My excuse: homework, schoolwork, the whole humdinger.
Also playing a little of the games I play.
So today I'm making an extra-long post, to kind of make up for it.
Let the [games] begin!

The latest 'Explorer Post is kind of confusing.

Jamaa always has awesome adventures. Today we want to recognize the winner of our previous News Crew contest and give you an all new Jammer Snaps assignment!
Fast and Slow News Crew Article:
Last week we asked Jammers to dig up news on Fast and Slow animals. Players responded by sending in tons of epic articles. It was hard to choose from the many submissions, but we were finally able to choose a winner—ArcticWolf!
Check out what they had to say:
Fast and slow animals, where to start!? Well, you can find these animals just about anywhere! From the snail in your garden to a cheetah in the zoo these animals are everywhere! There are many amazing facts about these interesting animals.
Did you know that the Slow Loris is indeed slow as its name suggests? They are also venomous but extremely slow! They move very slowly like a snail or a turtle! However, Springboks like the spring in their name are very fast! They can make long jumps or sharp turns as they run! They can reach to the speed of 100 km/h!
The question is how and why do these animals move fast or slow? Well the answer is in how their bodies are designed. Animals like the cheetah are meant to be fast so they can chase after prey, which is their food so they can eat. Yet some animals like the sloth are slow, but patience is good. They save energy by not moving around as much.
I interviewed Lucky ArcticLeopard and he said that he likes the faster life like a cheetah! My opinion is the more relaxed life like a panda! Whether you like a faster paced or slower laid back life, we can all relate to fast and slow animals!
There you have it jammers! Facts and thoughts on fast and slow animals! What is your opinion? What is your favourite fact? Jam on and have a great time in animal jam!

Oh yeah, here's the picture. (Arrgh weird thing with my font again)

Hmmm. I really like how that cheetah sits. That even makes it look like it leads a fast life.
Here's one of the Weekly Art things that I'd like to bring up:

Animal "Gam"? I'm not trying to make fun of an artist here. I'm saying that five-year-olds play this game, and some of the scamming stuff is too much for a kids game. Also, not to make fun of a younger generation here, but has anyone had a situation where you're talking with one of those younger jammers and they just won't reply? It's a bit annoying.

Some new AJ ads to critique:

Well, there's some more warfare, for one.

Ooo look, it's Peck. I guess that's pretty good...for appealing to a female audience.
I just noticed how the little blue buttons are different. One says "Play Now!" while the other says "Play Wild". Also, they're differently shaped and have different fonts. Personally, I think the Peck one is better.

Now some things about Chicken Smoothie.

I got these four guys from a person quitting CS.

EEK! I was soo happy. Especially since that last one is a "very rare"!

Also, I'm pretty sure that this one's going to become a wolf and

this one's going to become a fox.
See how the second one's ears are more pointy? I'm preety sure that's because the juvenile foxes have pointyer ears.
I can't wait to see what they grow into!

I'm also preeety excited, since one of my friends started Chicken Smoothie! Their user is piggielover. Not to be confused with piglover (which I did and was shock at all that she had done in just two days).

Now for the bad news.
Brace yourself.
This darn Blogger program won't let me change the background, so I'm afraid we're stuck at Halloween. I'm trying!

Finally, I want to pick an avatar for CS, but I can't decide! Plz help me choose!

Avatar #1

or

Avatar #2

Cute or silly? that is the choice. I'm making a poll for this.

That's all for today!

1st Chapter in my story

Here it is:

Chapter 1

The puppy whined desolately. It nosed the cold iron bars of the kennel and whined again. It hadn’t known anything but this harsh treatment. Its mixed bowl of water and kibble, for it’s owners hadn’t wanted to spend too much money on it, lay cast aside. Around it, other dogs barked, growled, and whined in the dark room. Most of them had never known a comfortable life, the puppy knew, from hearing their stories. The Gloved Man had caught them. Ironic, the puppy thought. I know everybody else’s story but mine.
Suddenly, the sliver of light under the door widened, and the Gloved Man stepped in. He was wearing a heavy dark coat, brown boots, and...gloves. When the Gloved Man pulled on those gloves, things were never good. Dogs disappeared, never to be seen again. Or they came back with completely changed personalities.
The Gloved Man stepped slowly through the doorway. The dogs all held their breath. Who would be taken?
The puppy squeezed its eyes closed. It sensed the Gloved Man passing. The puppy let out a huge breath. Then the Gloved Man stopped. He turned and reached for the puppy’s cage. It huddled in a corner. There was a rattling, and then those huge hands reached into the cage. They wrapped themselves around the puppy. The puppy looked around in wide-eyed terror. It had never realized how many dogs were in the room. It barely had any time to look around, before the Gloved Man stepped towards the doorway.

***

“Hi honey, I’m home,” Rob called as he stepped through the doorway. Sandy was in the kitchen, opening a can a tuna for Myra.
Myra the cat stepped down the stairs. Late again, Rob, she thought. Rob ignored her and walked away to the kitchen. Myra sat down on the rug and started licking her paw. Annoying how humans ignore me, she thought, drawing the paw over her ear. After all, I always have better solutions.
Myra padded into the kitchen. There was a box on the counter, and some sort of snuffing coming from it. There were holes in the box. Wait...No, it couldn’t be...
The Andy child teetering into the kitchen distracted Myra.
“Kitteh!” the Andy child squealed. His chubby fingers closed around Myra’s leg.
“No, no, Andy,” scolded Sandy. “We do NOT grab the kitty’s leg.”
Yes, thought Myra. As if I’m not here.
The box rattled again. The Andy child released Myra and stumbled toward the box on the counter.
“Oh yes, Andy,” said Rob. “I almost forgot!” He picked up the box and bent down to Andy’s level. “I have a surprise for you!”
Andy’s fingers fumbled on the lid. Sandy laughed and helped him.
The puppy burst out, stood still for a few seconds, and went straight for Myra.

***

The puppy leaped out of the box. It had been getting so HOT in there. It looked around the new place it was in. There were three fleshy humans and a pair of discarded socks on the ground. It wasn’t like any place it had been in before. It was warm, and he wasn’t confined in any cage. He had never been warm before. The Gloved Man was not to be seen. Then he looked the other way and saw the cat.

***

“Mrrow!” Myra screeched. The puppy started charging towards her. She fluffed up her fur and hissed. The inexperienced youngster had obviously never met a cat before. It went sliding past her in an attempt to stop itself. Myra immediately sat down and returned to her calm and controlled self. Works every time, she thought as she licked her fur flat.
The puppy began to whine. Ignore it, thought Myra to the humans. It just wants attention. Of course they didn’t listen to her.
“Puppy!” the Andy child shrieked.
“What gender?” asked Sandy.
“Male,” Rob replied. Great. They never have any sense, thought Myra. Always in a frenzy.
The puppy bounded over to them. His tail wagging, he licked Andy.
“What’ll we name him?” asked Sandy.
How about Cuckoo or maybe I-don’t-like-where-this-is-going.
“How about Lucky?” suggested Rob. “After all, he is a lucky little fellow.” The puppy sat down, tail still wagging hard. How much energy that must take, thought Myra. I believe the cats’ strategy is better. Move your tail when you need to.
Life’s getting too complicated, she thought.
She had no idea what would happen in a few years.

What do you think?

Darn it did something weird with my font again.

Also, some ads I found for Animal Jam. In case you are interested:

If you can see it, the monkey is actually missing from the second ad.

Also, I have some absolutely horrible news. Corgies are about to be put on the endangered list!!!! In case you don't know, a corgi is a type of dog. They are so cute! Also, the English royal family owns corgies. They are usually tan and white with pointy ears, stubby legs and no tail. They are probably as long as your thigh (providing that you do not have a thigh that is as long as a couch).

NaNoWriMo + more!

Sorry about my missing post yesterday.
We had a power outage from 9 am to 8 pm. Convenient, right?

This is Squeakums

As you have probably read the title, you are probably wondering what NaNoWriMo is. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. For 13 and older, you can participate here. If you are under 13, you can participate here. Basically, you write, and you update your word count. You win by reaching your goal. For the older NaNoWriMo, the word goal is 50,000. For the Young Writer's Program, you can choose your own goal. And you write. I'm participating in it, and I'll try and figure out some way to post my story so you can read it.

Here is the NaNoWriMo Song

Its weird how toward the end they seem to be doing yoga with laptops. What if they dropped one...

The recent posts on the Daily Explorer have been kind of meaningless. Its back to Plushie Mania again. I mean, not very many people go crazy over virtual stuffed giraffes.

Antlers are back. So are fairy wings. I haven't even noticed that they'd been gone...the thing that tipped me off was that they are labeled "new".

So here are some....things for Halloween/Night of the Phantoms:

One of my friends trick-or-treated at a place with really good candy, so she dressed up again and went back.
This one guy was giving out Toblerone Chocolate

which, in case you don't know, is Swiss and delicious and costs about $3 a bar. That man spent over $30 dollars on those Toblerones, not to mention the other types of candy you'd normally buy at Christmas. He even let us have two!

☻/ This is Bob, copy paste him in

My eggies have died.

Happy jamming!

Chicken Smoothie trick

I don't have very much time, so I'll just tell you a trick I use on Chicken Smoothie.
I always look at the recent posts for adoptions.
That way, you'll get a lot of pets.

I found one of these guys.
A nice little uncommon.
You never know what you might find!

Today's post on the Daily Explorer features spooky dens! Here is my favorite contest winner by Eternal Snowymajor, but the other ones were also amazing!

Also, they received a pawsome drawing from WretchedTheProud

Hmmm...I don't think this was done in Jamma. Doesn't it make phantoms look so cute?

I've got to do some other stuff now, so....

Please please click the eggies more! They only have one day left!

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

It has never been today before

Its completely true.
Any, today's Daily Explorer post features jammer art!

This is my favorite one, by Lucky Cleverhorse. Sorry if you did one of the other ones, hope you'll forgive me, but I like this one since it really looks like an AJ rabbit. I was wondering, even though my friend got an artist's plaque, it didn't show up on the weekly thing. I guess it only shows up in Jamma Central if its daily, right? Then how do you get into the weekly? Thats what I'd like to know.

Only two more days left for my dragons! Please click again! (And again, and again, and again.)

Den of the Week (I think) + some other things

First of all, I'd like to thank you, parrot girl and Cloudclaws, for commenting. You're probably the only two that ever read this blog so I'll try to keep it interesting.

Today's Epic Den? of the week belongs to Mythical Majorpaw:

How much Night of the Phantoms spirit does Mythical Majorpaw have?  TONS as far as we can tell!
Mythical Majorpaw
Jammers sent in SO many great Spooky Dens for Jammer Snaps this month.  Check back on Thursday for some of our favorites!

Now, I was confused because the title was "So Many Spooky Dens!"
Have you noticed how my font has changed? It happens every time I do a 'Explorer article!

This is the newest item out there. It sort of matches the rare elf bracelets, doesn't it?

Also, for you Chicken Smoothie players out there, what is this unicorn worth?

Now for some updates:

In case you haven't seen them, I've added some new gifs. (My favorite is the dancing puppy.)
Parrot girl, I've added your blog onto my list.

That's about it! Thanks for commenting, and don't forget to click the eggies! They've had unique views galore but just one click per egg! (Except for the red one. That one has three.) My eggs have only THREE days to live. They must hatch...or die (over-exaggeration, but alas, they do die). Did I mention galore is my favorite word?
And maybe check out some of my old "may I present to you"s? (In the archives)

Monday, October 28, 2013

*Sigh*

This is going to be my first and only post of the day.
Guess what I was doing?
Homework.
Yep.
Ok, so I began this post yesterday, so this is what I was going to post:

Some new image for Night of the Phantoms is on the 'Explorer.

Today's Rare Item Monday

In my opinion, the red ones should be the rares and the brown ones should be one of the common ones (they're not very scary) but thats just me.

Here's a new ad for AJ. I don't know about you, but I think AJ's turning into a war game. I mean, bows and arrows, swords, armor, that stuff. Even this ad shows war. And having giant venus flytraps eating lightning producing animations? Eh....Still violent, especially considering the Sol Arcade game "Falling Phantoms."

Don't get me wrong. Animal Jam is a fun game.
